hummel x Niklas Landin

Not only is hummel official clothing supplier of the German club THW Kiel, where Niklas Landin is a huge profile, hummel has now also signed a personal sponsorship agreement with Landin.

This means that the 30-year-old goalkeeper will become a hummel ambassador and will play in shoes from hummel from the summer of 2019 - both for his club and for his national team.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome Niklas to hummel. It is our ambition to be the preferred handball brand, and we are proud that such a big profile will join us on our continued journey. We look forward to an exciting collaboration with the world's best goalkeeper," says Sponsorship Manager at hummel, Lars Westergaard.

In the future, Niklas Landin and hummel will be working closely with the development of top-quality handball shoes - especially focusing on shoes for handball goalkeepers. And in connection with triumph at The IHF World Championships at home in Denmark in January 2019, Landin was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

"As a Dane, you almost automatically have a special relationship with hummel, and it is also a brand that has been there throughout my whole career, So I am proud that I now have the opportunity to become a part of the hummel family, and I look forward to showing the hummel chevrons on handball courts all over the world," says Niklas Landin.

Hummel's desire to remain the handball player's preferred brand is underlined by a broad portfolio of sponsorships. The world's largest handball clubs such as RK Vardar, Veszprem KC, Vive Kielce, Füchse Berlin, THW Kiel and others. are all part of the hummel family, just as the International Handball Association, IHF, has recently switched to hummel. In addition, there are a number of personal sponsorships, where Niklas Landin is the latest shot at the tribe.
