As Guild Esports, under influential ownership of David Beckham, embarks on its quest for triumphs in international esports tournaments, the team’s jerseys will bear a distinctive Danish flair.
In line with its growing commitment to esports, the Danish sportswear brand, hummel, has signed a new partnership with Beckham's esports collective, ushering in an era of exclusivity over the next three years as the official kit supplier.
"We are delighted to welcome Guild Esports, co-owned by David Beckham, to the hummel family. As a brand, we have an ambition to change the world through sport while promoting diversity and inclusion, and we see many of these values reflected in Guild's approach for esports," says hummel CEO, Allan Vad Nielsen, and continues:
"Guild's unique talent program based on the traditional sports academy aligns with our vision to build a strong foundation for the future of esports, and we look forward to working together to empower and inspire the next generation of esports athletes and fans," he concludes.
The new agreement has been entered in collaboration with hummel's British license partner SportsPro and fortified by a shared commitment to equality and inclusiveness, hummel and Guild find themselves anchored in a solid foundation for their mutually beneficial alliance.
Jasmine Skee, CEO of Guild Esports, said: "We are incredibly proud to present hummel as our new exclusive kit partner. The partnership is an important milestone in our increased focus on merchandising, and for the first time ever, our fans will be able to purchase a huge range of Guild products from some of the UK's biggest retailers. We look forward to a strong collaboration and look forward to having the hummel chevrons on our player jerseys.”
The first Guild Esports jersey with the iconic hummel chevrons on the shoulders will launch on October 1, 2023.
